Introduction
In this tutorial, we will create a plant growth animation using geometry nodes in blender 3d.

Plant Growth Animation using Curve Node
In the previous section, you learned how to create a tree growth animation. In this section, we will learn how to create a plant growth animation by using geometry nodes in Blender 3D.

Geometry Nodes are groups of objects that can be placed on top of each other and move together as one unit. The name suggests that they have some form of geometry (such as height) attached to them which makes them useful for creating animations where multiple elements move together as one entity.

Process
Import the 3D model of your plant.

Create geometry nodes for the root and stem of your plant, as well as for its leaves.
Set up an animation that moves you from one point to another over time.

Results
The final result of the animation is shown below.

Create a tree. Add geometry nodes, add custom materials and animations to the geometry nodes.

Import your 3D model into Blender and turn it into an animated asset using the Geometry Nodes feature in the Object menu panel.

Create a new scene, then drag & drop your animated asset onto it.

    Add a (Quadratic Bezier) node and Adjust the Settings 👇




2. Add a (Curve to Mesh) & (Curve Circle) & (Set Curve Radius) & (Index) & (Reverse Curve) nodes 👇




3. Add a (Noise Texture) & (Normal) & ( 2 Vector Math) nodes
    1st set > Subtract > 0.500         2nd set > Multiply 👇




4. Add (Instance on Points) & (Object Info) & (Align Euler) & (Curve Tangent) nodes 👇




5. Add a (Resample Curve) & (Random Value) nodes 👇
